Kandy King-Sweet Shop Events Terms & Conditions of Hire


Welcome to our website. If you continue to browse and use this website you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use, which together with our privacy policy govern Kandy King- Sweet Shop relationship with you in relation to this website.

Definitions

1.1 The “Client” means the person/s, organisation or company booking the equipment, act or entertainment with the “Company”.

1.2 The “Company” means Kandy King-Sweet shop

1.3 ‘Dry’ hire is the hire of equipment for the ‘client’ to operate and supervise themselves.

1.4 ‘Wet’ hire is the hire of equipment or entertainment accompanied by a representative of the ‘company’ to supervise use of the booked equipment or entertainment.

Bookings

2.1 All equipment remains the property of the company at all times.

2.2 By placing an order with us either verbally or via e-mail regardless of whether a booking form has been returned or deposit paid it is deemed that the customer has read, understood, fully agreed to and is bound by all our terms and conditions of hire.

2.3 In the event of traffic or other uncontrollable circumstances preventing us from being able to fulfil our contracted obligations our liability shall be limited to a refund of any monies paid in relation to the contracted event or a pro rata reduction in the hire fee in the event of delayed start. No further compensation will be paid irrespective of any loss of earnings.

Prices, Deposit & Balance Payments.

3.1 All hires are subject to a deposit of at least 25% (Deposit is non refundable).

3.2 The balance to be paid in full and cleared 14 days prior to the event start date unless approved account facilities are held.

3.3 Terms for approved account clients will be strictly 30 days from invoice date unless agreed in writing by the company.

3.4 Advertised prices are subject to change without prior notification.

3.5 The company reserves the right to charge interest on all overdue accounts at 2% above its banker’s current interest rate.

3.6 We are not vat registered so no vat will be added.

Cancellations

4.1 Any cancelled order is subject to the following cancellation charges Within 8 weeks prior to event 25% of order value Within 6 weeks prior to event 50% of order valueWithin 4 weeks prior to event 75% of order valueWithin 2 weeks prior to event 100% of order value.

Equipment

5.1 The company reserves the right to substitute hired equipment with equipment of a similar type and value without notice in the event of previous damage or loss of booked equipment.

5.2 All sizes quoted are approximate

5.3 All goods remain the property of the company at all times.

5.4 The company reserve the right to amend or alter any product specifications without prior notice.

Site Location, Facilities & Conduct

6.1 Hired equipment will be set up in one location only as agreed on arrival and will not be moved once unloaded.

6.2 The company reserve the right to refuse delivery if the venue or site is deemed to be unsuitable by our delivery personnel or if the client has failed to notify the company of any delivery obstructions such as stairs or excessive loading distances from our vehicle to the installation site. In such a case no refund will be given and the full hire fee will be due.

6.3 The client is responsible for ensuring that suitable security and crowd control measures are in place prior to start of event.

6.3 The company reserves the right to cease operation and remove hired equipment from site if at any time a representative of the company feels that guests or clients conduct endangers the safety of the guests, clients, themselves or the safety of the hired equipment. In such cases no refund will be given and full contracted fees will be due to the company.

Liability & Insurance

7.1 The company’s liability insurance covers use of the equipment only whilst booked on ‘wet’ hire (supervised by a representative of the company).

7.2 The client agrees to indemnify the company for any damage or theft of the company’s equipment whilst on hire.

7.3 The company accept no liability for any damage or loss of personal property and or any injury arising from the use of the hired equipment.

7.4 Any equipment booked on ‘dry hire’ is not covered by the company’s insurance policy and the client is responsible for suitable insurance cover

The term 'Kandy King- Sweet Shop' or 'us' or 'we' refers to the owner of the website whose registered office is under
Beer Dispenser Hire 2 Eileen Beard House Barton's Road Havant PO9 5RX. Our company registration number is 7852652868 and is registered at the above address. The term 'you' refers to the user or viewer of our website.

The use of this website is subject to the following terms of use:

Delivery Charges (Not For Beer Dispenser Hire)

We ship to UK mainland, Northern Ireland, Southern Ireland and mainland Europe

We endeavour to dispatch all in stock items ordered the same day if ordered before 3pm. Unless otherwise requested we normally use Royal Mail or Parcel force .
We can offer a next working day delivery service if you order before 2pm and select Next working day at checkout. (This is for UK mainland only and does not include delivery on Saturdays & Sundays )

Our post & packing charge varies according to the weight of the item, but generally is £6.00 for 1-3 day delivery, and around £10.00 - £50.00 for larger items such as motors and fan assemblies and beer dispenser.

Returning and exchanging Products

You can return products you purchase from us for a full refund, providing it is not fitted and returned with it's original packing undamaged ,(excludes commercial items such as icemakers)
It must be in the same condition as when you received it , and it must come back to us within 7 days. To return a product please login to your account and request to return an item. It is recommended that you send items back to us via a tracked delivery method as you are responsible for loss or damage on return. Unwanted parts are returned at the customer's expense

Please include this number inside the packaging so we are able to identify it when it is returned** . Upon inspection of the returned item we will credit your payment method with the amount of the item less the original post and packing charge

If the item is not returned in its original packing, we reserve the right to charge a 20% repacking charge,

Items are guranteed for six months from manufactures defects.

Items will not be accepted for credit without an issued RMA number

If there is something wrong with the item, or you receive something other than what you ordered we will pay for the return postage.

Electronic Items are not returnable under any circumstances.

Cancelling an amending order

Items that have not been dispatched can be cancelled or amended by contacting us via email or telephone. (excludes special order items see below)

Items that have been specially ordered for you either via the internet or telephone cannot be cancelled or amended once payment has been made.

Items not received

If you have not received an item after the delivery time speified. Please contact us.
Refunds and replacements will not be issued or considered until 10 working days of order to allow for delays in the postal system.
If the Item was sent via Recorded delivery, Special delivery, or parcel Force and proof of delivery was received, refunds will not be issued.
All missing or not received order request must be made within 21 days of order

Prices

All prices on tbds.com include any  payable but exclude delivery charges.

On occasion, the prices payable in respect of goods advertised on kkss.co.uk may differ from those prices payable at the same time in tbd stores. We are under no obligation to honour any in-store prices in the event that they differ from those on kkss.co.uk. Similarly, kkss stores are under no obligation to honour any kkss.co.uk prices in the event that they differ from those in-store.

Although we endeavour to ensure that all pricing information on tbds.com is accurate, occasionally an error may occur and goods may be mispriced. If we discover a pricing error we will, at our discretion, either contact you and ask you whether you wish to continue with the order at the correct price or notify you that we have cancelled your order. We will not be obliged to supply goods at the incorrect price.

Prices that are reduced for sales and promotions are only valid for the specified period.

We reserve the right to adjust prices, offers, goods and specifications of goods on tbds.com at our discretion at any time before (but not after) we accept your order.
